What's your favorite dessert?

Too easy!

Pistachio creme brulee, creme caramel, croissant (various versions of them), Charlotte, my mom's Russian pancakes, among few others.

My taste in food is very (I hope) well developed, so I won't eat just any dessert. Its better be real French and gourmet. :)

strawberry cheese cake. When we went to hosting con there was The Cheesecake Factory right around the corner from our hotel. They were open to 11:00 PM too. It was dangerious.

@Artlashes - I had to Google - Charlotte. Had no clue what it was. Looks good though. Forwarded the recipe to my wife. :)

Charlotte works only if its the French version. So make sure if your wife bakes, she follows the recipe of a French baker. :) It is super yummy.

Fully had me at "super yummy", I will have to try it myself and do not worry, I have a small degree in the arts of culinary super yummies, so I will keep you posted how it turns out. :D

And I will have to second strawberry cheese cake, most ladies are always drawn in my the cheese cake.

I had it handy as I posted it on another one of my forums a while back. Here's my favorite, and soo to be your favorite.. It's that good:

Cake ingredients
1 cup chopped nuts (pecans or walnuts)
1x 18 1/2 oz Pkg of yellow cake mix
1x 3 3/4 oz Pkg of jell-o vanilla instant pudding
4 eggs
1/2 cup cold water
1/2 cup wesson oil
1/2 cup Bacardi dark rum

Glaze Ingredients
1/4 cup cold water
1/4 lb butter
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup Bacardi dark rum

Directions
Preheat over to 325 degrees. Grease & flour 10" tube or 12 cup bunt pan. Sprinkle nuts over bottom of pan. Mix all cake ingredients together. Pour batter over nuts, back 1 hour. Let cool, but shake the cake loose from the pan before completely cool. Once completely cool poke holes all over the top. Drizzle & glaze evenly over the top & sides. Allow cake to absorb glaze.

For Glaze

Melt butter in a saucepan . Stir in water & sugar. Boil for 5 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and stir in rum.

* If you don't like rum as much as I do then only use half the rum in the glaze.
