I was thinking last when I was in a car going away for the weekend about space on my home computers.
Im running out of it on all computers very quickly because I have huge amounts of data.
At the minute I have 2 hard disks in my main computer but its not enough space.
What is the largest hard disk available today?
Internal or external but internal would be a lot better because of the cost (Not tape backup though, just a normal HD)

Just get 2 Western Digital 250GB 7200rpm Hard drives. They were on sale over here a few weeks ago for $149 (The tran rate is 1 quid = 1.71 dollars right now. Looks like the pound has gone up!)

I'd like to see you chew through 500GB of disk space..... unless you just store absolutely everything and run nightly backups of your drives.

250 is the largest I have seen.
500GB would easily be plenty.
Should last me a good bit anyway ;)
Thats really cheap for that size of hard disk, wonder what it would cost over here.
Will have a look around here anyway but I havent seen any in shops near that size so not sure if they do.
Im sure I can order from the net if not anyway
Thanks :)

Whoa.. I was thinking they would top out around 200gb, guess it was not too far off, but I did not think it would be 250gb or even 300gb!

Imagine what you could do with all that space now.. hmm

Video Games!!!!!
Nah, j/k. Largest i saw was a Maxtor around 250gb, but 300gb?!? Thats alot of space. Reminds me.... I need to save up some money to get another HD. This 1 is only 20gb LOL.
