What's cooking for you in 2010?

I received a cool little holiday card with greetings from our hosting provider HandsOnWebHosting.com (nice touch, Conor, thanks!) today and that made me thinking about the new year.

So apart from all the partying that you plan on starting the year with, what are some of the things you'd like to accomplish in 2010 that you either didn't have the time or enough willpower to do in 2009. Whether its something you wanted to try, learn, experience, achieve - spill it all out here!

Happy New Year everyone! :dance::beer::beer::dance:

You're very welcome! Glad to hear it made it there in one piece. Now you know why I've been away from the boards here for a while - hand writing a card for each of our clients takes a bit of time! ;)

For me, on a personal level, I've been heading to the gym for the past month or so with a trainer. I'm on contract with them for 1 year with the trainer, mainly just to keep me moving around and out of my chair :) Too many cigars over the years have affected my breathing a little, so if I go to the gym, hopefully I can get my lungs back in shape (so I can smoke more of course!).

From a business level - I don't want to say more of the same, but 2009 was good to us. I have a few speaking engagements lined up for 2010 and have become a little more active with the local groups in my city for webmasters, programmers and small businesses.

Always on the lookout for the next big thing, but at the same time I'd be happy if things stayed just as they are.

Now if I could just get the motivation to pick up the snow shovel and dig my way out of the driveway ;)

Happy Holidays - be safe if you're out and about!

Have started dancing everyday here with the family - to a new Wii game (Just Dance). At least one set of 10 different songs - long versions. Definitely gets the heart rate up. Should make a video of us dancing to Who Let the Dogs Out, Hot N Cold, I Like to Move It and others. Very funny.

In business - 2010 looks to be a very good year. Lots of high-end deals in the works. Certainly looking forward to building on 2009.

Having just found Hosting Discussion last March, it continues to be my favorite forum of the couple of dozen I visit everyday. So to all Hosting Discussion members and guests, the best in 2010 - stay safe and let the fun begin. It's party time! :D

Seems fitness is on all of our minds for the upcoming year? :) with recently receiving of a set of Jumpers Slits I should be set for smashing the typical techi office bound persona, although after a few injuries already I’ve thrown in Body Armour for good measure :P

With 2010 I’d like to unite our staff with a number of new projects that have been on the back burner for some time and finish some of those that have been simmering away throughout the year.

One of my personal desires is to kick off our tutorial blog fully with more content to make publicly available much of the knowledge of our developers rather than the current restrictions to support and community projects.

Only thing left to mention is to keep an eye on HD, very interesting, friendly and helpful community for anyone to be a part of :) dosent a year go quickly? :)
