Whats a good CTR for advertising?

What do you think is a good CTR for advertising?
What would you be happy with if you were advertising
CTR is a % which shows the % of users that saw an advertisement and clicked it.
Ie. 1 view and 1 click would be 100% CTR
2 views and 1 click would be 50% CTR

I'd say anywhere between 1:25 and 1:30 would be a good click through ratio.

I've done this before when running a free hosting server I had banner ads along the top. Wasnt doing to well though I had like a 1:68 ratio

I think 1:25 is pretty high, thats 4% but most advertising campaigns have a lot less than that

anything from 1-2% would be considered GREAT in my mind.

This only with respect to hosting?

I have clients who have 10%+ CTR's but they have much nicer industry's than the nightmare of advertising hosting.
