How old where you when you got into the web hosting industry im 15 and I been doing Web Dev. Sins I been around 13 and got into web hosting when I was 14.

What about you?
 
I only wish I were so young :) I got involved in the industry as a technician when I was 19 and have been floating around since then.

What role do you play in the industry at your age?
 
Well, I'm 60, so there was no web hosting industry when I was 15. I first trained as a radio technician in '69. Became general manager of an ISP, networking and web hosting business in the Central West End in '96.
 
Hey, I'm doing quite well for 60. It's been exciting keeping pace with technology. I'm looking forward to the next 60 years. :)

Indeed you are, most men your age start with a swear word computer swear word..... You get the point. You are well traveled and very knowledge. We like having you around. No hating here.

Got into hosting at arround 15 (give or take) mainly due to a desire to build and design websites, though a long way on from that now.

Though Zachary, cant say the older generation arent keeping up, recently purcahsed a laptop for the grandfather (90's) quite able to hammer away on excel :D
 
I started design and development when I was 12 and setup my first server when I was 14 to host mine and a few friends/family sites.

wow... statistic says your grandfather is in the minority. I'm all for more distinguished folks getting in on technology.
