After visiting several websites I've learned about all the benefits regarding Colocation service. But is there any risk related to it?

Well the main one you should think of, hardware, make sure you stock replacements, can you get there super fast or can you afford to pay techs to fix it, that is a big big issue

Very good point. We have extra equipment at our datacenters ready to be swapped at a moments notice. It does cost extra, but it can really save in the end by keeping clients!

Remember to stock Extra HDDs, CPUs, and RAM at minimum.

If you are planning on collocating, I personally would buy 2 identical servers, and use one for parts/failover for ultimate protection.

Specification.

Thanks everyone. I have found a number of specifications on Colocation service. Such as,

100% power SLA.
Redundant power feeds into the facility.
Diverse A/B electrical circuits.
Available 110v and 208v cabinets.
100% network SLA.
Redundant Tier 1 bandwidth providers.
N+1 HVAC system.
24x7 multi-level security.
24x7 network operations center.
Remote Hands and Smart Hands.
SAS 70 Type II certified.

Now please let me know whether it is well enough to depend on.
