What is E-Commerce Server (Interchange) available in WHM?

What is E-Commerce Server (Interchange) available in WHM? What dows this service do and what capabilities does it have?

I could be wrong but I don't think it's even supported anymore by cPanel.

Interchange is still supported by cPanel but it's just disabled by pretty much every web host out there. When Interchange was first integrated with cPanel it was not done the best way possible - as a result, it received a bad rap. osCommerce exploded onto the scene and became the default recommended shopping cart at that time.

Interchange is still actively developed, but I don't believe it ever made it to the PCI Compliance level - http://www.icdevgroup.org

It's recommended by almost every thread at cPanel to disable the program.

It was a Shopping cart plugins... Site like HG - runs its still.. you can't never stop them.. You can also find out your self!

The interchange not restart and all the time is down,I reinstall it and work but if restart again is flailed.Interchange is no longer supported in cpanel these days, they still have the code functionality in cpanel for older installations.

What version of Cpanel are you using?

Personally I'd avoid it - I've found PrestaShop to be pretty good
