What happened to Crowfield?

Anyone know what happened to crowfield? I have not heard from him for a while. His website yoursimplehost.co.uk does not seem to work. Hope nothings wrong.

Last I heard he was moving to a new datacentre I think.

He has been very busy lately and I dont see him online much these days

Yea, if he is moving to a new datacenter boy that is a lot of work. I've had to do that many times.

Yep it's working now. Wonder how long he's going to be gone.

Yes, we had to modify all the Domains to new NameServers so the Domains have to start propigating again worldwide this could take up to 72 Hours, but he will be on a better DataCenter with us

Domains should start working now, if they're not working it's because your ISP hasn't updated to the New Name Servers and it's not resolving to the New Server.

You can also move the DNS from server to server to speed it up.

edit all the named files in your named directory then restart named

Tip: use perl -pi to do a search and replace

Not a good idea to tell people if you are hosting someone unless you have said first
