What does the warn level on AIM actually mean?

Hey,
I just had some kid give me 2 warnings on AIM for "fun" which brought my warn level up to 10%

What does the warn level on AIM have to do with?
Will it effect anything?

I don't know what it does, I know a few of my friends have had warning levels that I have not set but yet it shows up as if I warned them on my list..

Warning someone on AOL really doesnt do too much until you warn someone like 4-5 times within a few hours. Once you hit 100% you get auto-blocked from that persons buddy list.

Kinda stupid.... but thats AOL for ya
