What do you want an alternative to that you would pay for?

Is there any programs or scripts you would like an alternative to?
For example, an alternative to Outlook Express or something to use instead of a helpdesk script etc.
Just an alternative to something you would use daily, or very often, that you would pay for.
How much would you pay for the alternative?

I would like an alternative to IE and would be happy to pay for it.
Im using Firebird (from mozilla) at the minute and think its great.
I would pay up to $50 for a good program.

As for a script, theres nothing really that I would want to change..
There are a few things I would like to change in perldesk but nothing worth changing over for

I'd like an alternate forum software, to the one I use at the moment (made by me). I just dont have the time to code my own forum and do everything else I have to do and the ones out there just dont have what I want, and I dont want to have to install about 40 mods and keep upgrading it and reupdatin the mods everytime a load of bugs are found. I've tried out loads, invsion, phpbb, yabbse etc. and I just cant find what I need. VBulletin looks good, but at the moment, I cant really afford it, and everything that comes with VB you have to pay for as well(templates, mods etc.) so it builds up and builds up, and even VB doesnt have loads of features, just more than the others.

What features are you looking for in a forum?
I think invision is great for a free forum, the best available at the minute.
I used to be a big phpbb fan but i upgraded one forum to invision then done the same with the rest.
This is my only vBulletin forum simply because of the price.
Its a great script and would recommend it to anyone but the price lets it down, I have always thought that.

Yeah I would recommend vBulletin for any forum, if of course you want to invest the money.

Not being able to access most VB sites and vb itself without paying, are there any mods (modifcations) for VB that are free? Are most of them pay for? Are there any free templates?
