What are the best web design trends lately?

What new web design trends have you seen that you like? What have you seen lately that you don't like. And tell us why you liked or didn't like it.

I've been reading alot about wood grain in designs. I'm not sure it fits all different types of websites, although some people seem to be trying to make it fit. I don't like wood paneling in cars either though, so its probably just me.

Another one is retro/ivintage looking sites. I think they are super cute. I love the less is more approach and vintage makes it simpler since you probably don't want to edit them heavily. Its a very comforting look.

i like the design to be as simply as it can, simplicity is the easy way for users to find what they are looking for

Interactivity

I like that most sites these days offer a lot more interactivity than the did in the past. From RSS feeds to blogs and forums and even just the bookmarking buttons...I like that I can often make a comment or share the site with other people easily.

Blogs seem to be pretty popular now. Bringing a different approach to business by communicating with your clients on a more personal level.

CMS is something that people are opting for these days. I personally like CMS and use DNN a lot with custom skins.

a nice plain and simple website with around 2/3 colors max very few images is what i like.
