You might try a WordPress migration plugin like JConverter, which can automatically transfer your WordPress site data, including your content, posts, comments, and followers, over to Joomla. Must say though that I worked in an all-Joomla shop years ago, and I wouldn't give you ten cents for a Joomla site today.

Hi. It is a technical process, but automation may help through the export tool.
