Where can I find some good (free) web design tutorials using Photoshop? I'm new to the subject and so I need a beginner friendly one.

Can a web template be designed using only photoshop? I've heard that you can. Something about a program called Image Ready.

I use Photoshop CS (I got it through dads work).

Not sure what is wrong but that was a great site, I think I actually have a lot of the tutorials from that site saved offline

Image Ready started out as a standalone product in 1996, but was soon integrated into Photoshop.

I've never really understood much of ImageReady. What can it do that Photoshop can't?

Yes I have but I don't really understand it. But then again I have only spent 5 minutes with it.

I prefer Paint Shop Pro 8 to Photoshop, but I guess its just personal preference really.
