Warning: Fantastico Security Bug

There is a serious bug in older versions of Fantastico that can allow a hacker to gain root access to servers that have not updated Fantastico. Not exactly "new" news but people should be keeping all server scripts up to date regardless.

No but I did have a client fall victim to this. After many hours of reinstalling his OS, software, and restoring his data I thought posting a warning might save others some trouble.

Really useful information.. I feel clients need to keep there application update to latest stable version rather that facing problems.
