VPS Guy - Simple & straight to the point

I could have created an elaborate site integrated with WHMCS, but since this is a 1 man operation I wanted to project the simplicity of it all. There's no bells and whistles, which saves me and my clients money. The entire site is designed and developed by me. Clients have access to my 100% custom billing/support center which verifies Paypal payments, and auto provisions VPSs in HyperVM. Leaving the only un-automated task... Support!

So take a look http://www.vpsguy.com & let me know what you think.
Just to give an idea, I've only spend roughly a total of 6 hours from start to now on this site.

For six hours of effort, it looks outstanding. :)

as steve said, for 6 hours of work its a nice result especially with the intergrations. only recommendation would be and SSL certificate for the logins that im sure is allready planed but otherwise its a good result in such a small timeframe.

Simplicity is my favorite word when it comes to website design. I noticed your site before you made a post and I thought it was very well put together. To-the-point information, just out there to do its only function.

My only recommendation is perhaps to create a page that would give potential clients a little more background information on the company (to make them feel more at ease who they are dealing with). Also, maybe moving the "support/contact/hypervm" links higher on the page so that they are better visible/accessed.

All in all, a superb site.

Thanks for the feedback. I was already planning on moving the links to the top, but an "about" page is a good idea. I knew I was missing something and frankly I wanted to put up some data center info but just didn't know where. I've also just setup SSL as was planned. The whole "feel more at ease who they are dealing with" hasn't been an issue as every client has either been upgrading from shared hosting with me, received design/development work from me, or heard about me via word of mouth. I'll accept orders from anyone, but by no means am I being aggressive with this project. Thanks again for all the suggestions.

Don't forget those graphics on the right side should get some ALT Title Tags so that people know what they are, and you can also get some added exposure in Search Engines by utilizing that text in relation to your site.

Nice work though - nice and clean! Wish my own site was more like that at times ;)

I also agree the site looks good, Simple is sometimes the best design.
I agree that alt tags would be a good idea to let your visitors know what each one of the logos is for but most of your potential customers probly already know what they are. It would help your rankings in the SE's though. Also you might want to consider title tags so the text comes up on mouseover in firefox aswell.

Thanks for all the feedback. Any good business owner understand it's extremely important to plan for the future. I'd like to think of myself as such, so I'm preparing VPS Guy for the "next phase". I'll be utilizing WHMCS, hiring a tech from the UK to cover tickets while I'm sleeping, and making a considerable investment in new VPS nodes.

With all this comes a new look.. Sample Attached. I'm still working on it obviously.

This will all happen within the next 90 days, so I'm not so concerned about the existing site as long as it works.

I took your recommendations and made some minor modifications. Thanks again for the feedback, IMO it's much better now.. This shall do the trick till the revamp.

Looks great! Btw, are you not afraid of spam? Your contact page has no captcha verification or any kind of anti-spam prevention. Perhaps you should install one not to overload yourself with unwanted crap. :)
