Few short days later millions know his name: Chesley B. "Sully" Sullenberger - the pilot that landed a commercial airliner into Hudson river in New York with all 155 passengers unhurt and saved.

It was mentioned on the news that he also runs a company called Safety Reliability Methods. The website is very basic, hosted by Yahoo! Out of curiosity, I checked the Alexa rating to see how the news reflected on his site and I think the stats speak for themselves:

Great job landing that plane though.

hehe.. you know, everyone keeps saying "landing" - I've always attributed landing with an airport and wheels down. He performed a controled crash on the water. :)

Landing...controlled crash...people came away from it alive and in the same number of pieces as they boarded the plane, so that's probably what counts most in their minds.

Landing: The act or process of bringing an aircraft to land after having been in the air. The airport/wheels are technicalities. :P

By the looks of it, he got his one day of fame. Traffic seems to be subsiding fast.

That traffic will go up I am sure once all is said and done. i think the last I read about him was that he was expecting a few awards from this and then is going to end up retiring. Considering that hes been a pilot for over 20 years, thats not a bad way to go out. :D

Really he did a fantastic job putting her down in one piece. I had lessons with the RAF as part of a scholarship program, and even landing on grass with landing gear engaged, with the rear wheels touch down the small plane I flew would pull nose down.

To land on water would have been an incredible job keeping it from slamming down into the water. I really do have a lot of respect for him.
