Hello, I am looking for a patner.

I am buying a server once I find one. I will pay for everything and we will share the money together for the 5 first clients. Then we can move on from there.

I have a design.
We have to talk about the name I am thinking of a name.
Ill buy domain and everything. This is urgent the faster I get a partner the faster my server gets up!
I am buying the servers off my friend they are supper fast and I am buying a domain reseller. And a game server reseller. You may contact me at

I didn't see what exactly your partner is doing. You're putting up the money, you're getting the servers, you're doing the design, and you've got a name picked out. Are you looking for someone just to setup your server for you? If so, then you'll need them around for longer than 5 clients as learning about server management is not something you'll learn over night.

You may want to contact www.fastservermanagement.com for some server management help. Relativly inexpensive for what they do!

Well my partner will help me do a lot he can help me buy domain. And I said I we need a name and we both can pick it out and I also said we can keep the first 5 clients money for our self then when we get 6 client hire support agents and other staff and ten we need to buget our money and stuff and he will help me do a lot like set up accounts and stuff and he could help me pay/ I am trying to be nice but ya you didn't read it too rgiht sorry about my writing.

To help you out, 5 clients wont make you enough to hire on tech support. You should aim for 15+ atleast. Also, if the guy you get to help manage the server is good, you shouldnt receieve to many support tickets about stuff not working. You will probably recieve a bit of tickets for people not knowing how to set something up, which you or your patner should be able to take care of with ease.

I guess it's how the posting was worded:
I will pay for everything and we will share the money together for the 5 first clients. Then we can move on from there.

To me, this implies that you would split funds for the first 5 clients, and then "move on" meaning separate paths, and the partner would only receive the split money.

As Romes mentioned, 5 clients and then hire staff likely would not be enough to operate a business (unless you're dealing with dedicated servers, and your 5 clients are spending $150 etc). Also, I take it that by staff, you're hiring per ticket type staff?

I think a more serious look needs to be given to what it is that you want to do and how you want to accomplish it. I'm all for someone starting a business and needing a partner to get started, but if you're requesting through a forum, a more detailed plan needs to be laid out.

Pay per ticket staff are good for a budget. Also, if he is dealing with dedicated clients, then sure, 5 is good. But, if your going into the shared/reseller business, 5 wont cover much.

All I can say is be VERY careful who you deal with. This is someone online you are looking for. There is no guarantee of trust and reliability. It's even hard for people to find a good web designer without the risk of their site being manipulated or passwords ripped in the case a disagreement arises.

Partnership is definitely a way to go to offset the costs that you can both afford, with and without a loss. I would just prefer you do this locally though, with a friend or someone who you know is very smart when it comes to technology.

Yea sorry about all that..
I have gottn into hosting like nov of 08.

I really need a good partner.
I was saying that the first 5 clients we can share the money till we get around 15 clients then we can start hire staff.
I bought a reseller off my friend insted of a server I pay 5$ mo for 50GB Disk
100GB Bandwidth I got 80% off of 24.99$

Also I am going to buy a server once I do good with getting clients and know a little more info on hostng.
He says his ervers are located in dallas texas and one in germany. I am on the one in dallas TX. I got adomain reseller too.

I will pay for everything if you want, or I would like my partner to buy the domain and ill pay for hosting then when we raise money we can always upgrade.

I want my partner to pay for domain s that I kno he's into this and not messing me over.

Your search for a viable partner would be a lot more healthy if you had a business plan to show people. Do you have one?

I am not talking about a full biz report, just a two-pager would do about what kind of company you want to start, its financial and organizational structure, people involved, projected costs/revenues (at least for Year 1) and marketing plan on how you plan to acquire clients.

Well I think he got curious to enter into this hosting business but without prior knowledge on what we do , its tough to enter this, so i sincerely advice to study this industry for few months then try for a partner.

Without knowing the industry ( atleast what is a vps a dedi server, a datacenter) its tough to prepare a business plan

I do know what a vps and data center is all I want is someone to be my partner and help me run the site.. I am trying to be nice but ehh.
I would like my partner to pay for something but I know how we could bill our clients and more I have some plans go to greg.tornadogaming.com that's my design and prices and everything the site ant fully up but but I am going to get a partner and buy a domain and stuff.

Trust me I will do what I need to do and stuff I do know a lil about hosting not too mush but I know a lot about shared hosting and resellers.
