Hi,

Aplus.net says they're offering 1$ domains. I thinkg it's .net and .com. There could be a catch. I don't get anything out of this, I just thought I'd be the nice person to share this with you.

The link:

I hope this will help someone in some way.

Their offer has many limitations, including the price itself. Either way, aplus I'd like to stay away from. Their business practice, which I don't agree with, will not attract me even if they offer free domains.

I was looking into ordering one after seeing that myself, like Artashes said, there are a ton of limitations. Not only are there limitations but there are a lot of functions/features that they offer you ass additions for a price that most hosts give you for free. Also it's not like you're paying just $1, you have to pay 7.95 first and then they will credit you back 6.95.

Yea, there are always things you have to consider. Be sure you read all the 'small' print, i do remember (prolly still do but..) when they had the .info domains for 99 cents!

I have to say registering most of our domains with aplus.net was a horrible mistake.

They contradict themselves, have horrible support, and the DNS update time is horribly slow :(

They'd probably try and make it difficult to move your domain name away from them too. Personally I wouldn't go anywhere near them.

They do, we have been transferring all of ours away. Takes some time.

You'd think the new policy from ICANN would stop that, but of course they find a way to make things difficult.

The majority of things I have heard about aplus.net were negative. I would stay far, far away from them.

I have no doubt that they are legit. I have just heard on many occasions that their service is horrible.

Yea well its better then them charging your card for 2 months, making your checkin account go negative, and some how owing the bank $600 for a server I didnt sign a contract on, and didnt finalize the order. IMHO their network is great, their tech support and sales suck, and they charge w/o telling you.
