Halifax, Novia Scotia - (The Hosting News) - July 20, 2007 - Privately held, Halifax-based search company part of IT Interactive Services Inc., GenieKnows.com, has entered into a search distribution deal with Yahoo, designed to allow GenieKnows.com access to Australian and Canadian sponsored search listings.
Yahoo! advertiser listings will be visible alongside the natural search listings generated by the GenieKnows.com vertical search engine, which employs patent-pending technology encompassing crawling, extraction, indexing and ranking techniques. This deal went into effect May 1st, 2007 and will allow for Yahoo! sponsored search listings to appear across all GenieKnows vertical engines and selected network partners.
