Secaucus, New Jersey - (The Hosting News) - October 3, 2007 - Web host and national provider of integrated voice and data communications firm, Covad Communications Group, Inc., has entered into a Master Agent Agreement, with KeaneTel, to expand distribution channels for DSL, T1, and wireless broadband services.

At the Fall 2007 Channel Partners Conference and Expo, Covad inked the agreement with KeaneTel, which is anticipated to expand the availability of Covad broadband services to KeaneTel's nationwide partner network of enterprise and SMB telecommunications suppliers. With offices in over 40 cities across the country, KeaneTel represents more than 20 suppliers and, with the addition of Covad broadband, will provide complete outsourced communications services to its customers.

KeaneTel will sell Covad's portfolio of business class ADSL, SDSL, T1, bonded T1, security and fixed broadband wireless services. Covad delivers high speed Internet access communications over one fully-managed, nationwide network. In addition to its standard DSL and T1 products, Covad offers a Bonded T1 service with speeds of up to 3 Mbps and Quality of Service guarantees, as well as ADSL2+, which offers download speeds up to 15 Mbps. The company also offers fixed broadband wireless at speeds of up to 45 Mbps and installation within five to seven days, in most cases. KeaneTel joins Covad's premier Master Agent program, which is comprised of 10 nationwide partners.

Under the Master Agency program, Covad better serves its customers by pairing sales partners with a designated Covad channel manager specialized in joint selling and presales technical support. The Master Agency program is also equipped with an Alliance Center partner portal which offers sales and marketing tools, product and pricing information, online training courses, and customer support contacts.

Recently, Covad extended its Line Sharing Agreement with AT and T. The Agreement will continue to May 2009, and also includes extentions of the commercial terms as to former BellSouth territory, and guarantees access to AT and T copper and remote-terminal facilities for new Covad line share customers. The agreement also provides for commercial access to AT and T copper facilities in the former Bellsouth territory, also through May 2009.

Covad and ATT also resolved a number of disputes.
