Chandler, Arizona - (The Hosting News) - January 30, 2007 -
Developer and operator of data centers, 365 Main, will present its regional ACE award to a volunteer with the Habitat for Humanity Valley of the Sun affiliate, celebrating achievement, commitment and excellence in individuals and charities in communities in which 365 Main operates. Last June the company opened up a 315,000- square foot facility in Chandler, a suburb of Phoenix. In addition to presenting the award to 20-year volunteer Joan Jaynes, 365 Main is sending more than 20 employees to Chandler to help Jaynes and her fellow Habitat for Humanity volunteers build a house for a low-income family. The all-day construction event will take place on January 27. Chris Dolan, CEO of 365 Main remarked,."The ACE award is a core component of our community relations program. We created it to celebrate local citizens who work hard to improve the communities where we do business, and Joan Jaynes has spent many years doing exactly that in the Phoenix area. In fact, we've been so impressed with the great work that she and all the people at Habitat for Humanity do that we decided to pick up our hammers and join them as volunteers."Ms. Jaynes was one of the founding board members of Habitat for Humanity Valley of the Sun 20 years ago and since then has worked on construction sites throughout Phoenix and around the world. As part of the ACE award, 365 Main will make a financial contribution to Habitat for Humanity Valley of the Sun in her name.Christine Odom, President and CEO of Habitat for Humanity Valley of the Sun added, "We are very excited that 365 Main has selected Joan Jaynes as the recipient of this very generous award. She has worked tirelessly to make a difference for low-income families in need of affordable housing and is a fantastic example of someone who saw a need and did something about it. We're also extremely pleased that the folks from 365 Main are rolling up their sleeves and helping out with the real work that goes into what we do. That says a lot about their commitment to making Phoenix a better place to live."365 Main Inc. develops and operates data centers designed, managed, developed and certified according to industry standards and compliance requirements, including SAS70, that feature 24/7/365 power, cooling, security and connectivity and capabilities to ensure mission-critical operations and business continuity for its tenants.
