[Thehostingnews] SWsoft Server Virtualization Firm, Upgrades Sitebuilder Publishing Solution

Herndon, Virginia - (The Hosting News) - June 28, 2007 - Server virtualization firm, SWsoft, has instituted new features in its Sitebuilder software, including promotional footers and single-sign-on capabilities for providers, as well as a file download module, one-click publishing, and Google Maps technology for end users.

According to the company, service providers may generate more revenue with new software from SWsoft, as customers ad promotional material to their websites. The newly released SWsoft Sitebuilder 4.0 Single-Sign-On (SSO) technology, is designed to enable service providers to administer Sitebuilder service plans using a single login and password. The latest release of Sitebuilder now has 12 dynamic modules, including a new File Download Module that enables site owners to easily add files to their websites, such as PDF files, documents and spreadsheets. Also, the Area Map Module was enhanced with Google Maps technology, which lets users embed interactive Google Maps in their sites and get driving directions to and from a specific address.

Joakim Frid, CEO of Crystone offered, ''We worked closely with SWsoft to develop the Promotional Footers feature in this release of Sitebuilder./ With this feature, we can add our own custom tagline to each customer's website, increasing our overall market exposure. We can also offer our customers optional service plans based on how much of our promotional material they are willing to allow on their sites.''

Sitebuilder 4.0 features for service providers include:

- Promotional Footers - Add company name or other promotional material on each customer's published website.
- SSO Support - Gain full access to all Sitebuilder capabilities with unified credentials through the SWsoft Plesk administration console.
- Backup/Restore - Back up and restore individual sites or an entire Sitebuilder server.
- Custom Design Template Support - Create custom templates tailored for specific markets with the ability to create one template that can be deployed across both Linux/Unix and Windows platforms.

Sitebuilder 4.0 features for end users include:

- File Download Module - Provide downloadable content on a website.
- Google Maps - Add area maps and get directions.
- Multiple Image Uploader for Image Gallery - Upload multiple images to user sites at once in the Image Gallery module.
- One-Click Publishing - Publish a website with one click after building it using new interactive text in the five-step design wizard.

Serguei Beloussov, CEO of SWsoft noted, ''Sitebuilder 4.0 adds new features that make it easy for hosting providers to customize service plans and easy-to-use options to attract and retain customers. Sitebuilder's improved integration with SWsoft Plesk and use of SSO technology is a direct result of our OPEN FUSION initiative to deliver flexible, open solutions that create business opportunities for the entire hosting ecosystem of providers, end-users and software vendors.''

OPEN FUSION is an SWsoft technology initiative to improve integration among a wide range of systems, third-party applications and modules, and custom and in-house solutions. The OPEN FUSION platform enables optimized delivery of software-as-a-service (SaaS) and traditional hosting services to help ISVs and service providers take full advantage of new opportunities in the market.

SWsoft Sitebuilder was developed as a next-generation, scalable website-building application that can be integrated into any business process for hosting providers, ISPs, registrars and telecoms. Sitebuilder's easy-to-use, five-step wizard and 12 dynamic modules make this software a powerful and flexible solution. Sitebuilder 4.0 is designed to work with hosting platforms that use the new Application Packaging Standard (APS), such as the Plesk control panel. The APS standard (www.apsstandard.com) defines a specification for software vendors to create ''pluggable'' applications that can be delivered by any service provider.
