Auckland, New Zealand - (The Hosting News) - August 16, 2007 - Advanced Web 3.0 personalization and business search technology software firm, VortexDNA, has acquired Internet executive, John Hart, of Palo Alto, California, as its new Vice President of Business Development and Commercialization.

Hart joins VortexDNA from Ubiquity Software (now Avaya), where he served as vice-president marketing and product management responsible for the SIP Applications server and applications products. He will be New Zealand-based VortexDNA's first on-the-ground person in the US. His extensive work in the industry as a business leader has lead companies into successful partnerships that build industry solutions. Mr. Hart has a strong marketing focus on internet service providers for voice, data, internet protocol TV and video services. He has worked in the broadband telecom industry for over 25 years and has a strong background in broadband technologies.

Prior to Ubiquity, Mr. Hart held executive positions at Comcast, Acterna, Saville, EMC, Digital Equipment Corporation and AT and T.
