The Card Trick (need opinions)

This doesn't really fit in the website reviews, so I posted here. Hopefully I still get some feedback.

I've been working a bit on creating more digital art. I do it to relax.

I also do magic as a hobby. So, my new personal project is to create a personal site aimed at both.

I created this image as a splash, and will animate it in flash, in full 3D.

I'd like to get some feedback if possible, and see what you guys think of it.

Thanks

Ahh so then it is realistic enough to be recognized :D

I love playing cards as well, but no one ever wants to play with me. ;)

Answer One: Can't tell, it depends on the position I'm in, and if it's life threatening or not :D

Answer two: Pittsburgh.

Well you're a bit far away from Iowa I guess, Total Est. Distance: 696.87 miles - maybe when there's an HD meetup or something ;)

So are you going to animate a card trick that you do? Working on a site that offers card tricks? What's up your sleeve Mr. Mark Magic?

Well, I was planning to do quite a few things with it actually. I was planning to do some online card ticks with the 3D deck (yes every card in the deck has a face and a back), I was going to create a photo-realistic, 3D animated blackjack table with real play, I was also considering animating the deck, as an actual function of the site....

Example: click on a link in the navigation , and a card flips off of the deck, stands on it's side, and the content loads on it. Not really sure just yet how it will be formatted to all make sense though lol.

I really like the picture. It looks real. And the deck looks very new. :)

I've seen some very tired (used) decks of cards in my life. The kind made of paper (cardboard). You see, back when commies were ruling my country, it was quite impossible to find a deck of cards to buy and cards made of plastic were unheard of.

How did I miss this thread in the first place?
The image is awesome, thank you for updating it.

Well time has passed, and projects have flowed in, and work has gotten hectic. It's still been in the back of my mind. Just goes to show you though, sometimes people get mad at me because I can't find time to get stuff done for them, but in fact, I can't get my own stuff done either lmao
