What is the best web hosting deal that you have ever seen, which actually delivered as promised? How much did you pay for it, what was the plan offering, and how long ago did you check this out?

Oh, and some host names and/or links would be nice too :)

I find this offer extremely hard to believe, with a server for such a low price. Unless you happened to know the owners or something, I really don't see how anyone would realistically offer that kind of deal for only ten smackers. Additional information would be appreciated.

This definitely does sound like a steal.
Are you sure you're not referring to a VDS (Virtual Dedicated Server)

There were some very appealing offers across the web hosting industry during the Christmas Season.
 
The Christmas season is probably the worst time for web hosts as people are spending their money on gifts and racking up their credit cards instead of ordering hosting packages and setting up web sites - for the most part.

Probably the best time of the year to get a good deal. I know that the day after Thanksgiving was also good for a few providers (discount wise).

I used a 20% off coupon at HostGator for a year subscription once :)
 
Best Deal i got was From my Friends Hosting site who just started.

yes i know new provider be careful i heard it all when i was looking for a good host to host my clan website and my own shopping cart. but they did wonders for me. and you might say that because my friend owns the provider is why i'm with them no i like giving new hosting providers a chance and see how they are. I was ask by him to advertise for him right now he is offering 50% off you first payment or 25% off all payments. they do have a money back thing so if you don't like them you can get you cash back. check them out if you wish.. but as said he's a new provider and i would rather be honest with everyone then lie and say he's been around for years lol

If your going to advertise go to the marketplace section and post there please. Also I would tell your friend to not lie about being a 2 year old company when he just made it on the 2nd of this month.

$10 is way too cheap for dedicated. The best deal I ever got, which was reliable, was justhost shared hosting...great price and the same with their service.
 
I agree with cyberworldhosting, lying about a domains age is not good for his image. Also, the $10.00 deal is just amazing. I'm sure the $10.00 was for the first month.
 
As I know, there is a lots of best deal or cheaper package in the market. However, when we choose a hosting provider you may need to know how is their services. Sometime we found out that there is a lots of critic for a such good company. Therefore, you can consider the critics as your reference only. Some company they have a lots of critics, but they still leading in the market. Meaning that, you may choose your hosting provider according to your requirements and make your decision accordingly to your own point of view.

Judge a thing with your own point of view.

Hi all

I must say a dedicated server for $10 ( even with 256mb ram ) is really cheap, more of a " too good to be true ", I think you might of had a vps ( virtual private server ).
 
Yea, I dont think its a real deal.
"too good to be true "
But if I could of have had the link to the plan I would be so glad....
