Taking in money

Hello

Sorry if this is in the wrong place, but I run a small company, and I am interested in selling a premium membership to my site where people can access more of it. I was wondering if anyone could recommend money collection services (such as shareit.com but thats more for shareware) that can handle this, and also take into account the fact I'm in the UK.

Thanks

What would you have premium membership for? I mean what kind of items? Well for money collection I wouldnt know anything about since I only use 2CheckOut and Paypal ;)

The thing is, the number could change depending on what options the person wants (no two prices would be the same) so a static kind of checkout thing wouldnt be any good

Also, I dont have a large sum of money to start up a thing where you pay a load to get started. I'd prefer to have one that takes a small amount out of the total

I am sorry I cant help you with this because I have no knowledge in it at all. However you should try going to Scriptlance.Com and posting a project and you will get something for cheap.

The thing is, I need one that takes a % out of the total rather than needing a setup fee. Also, one that can do cheques would be a lot more useful, although credit/debit is ok. I just loose money with changing $ to £'s, unless there is a UK one.

Can paypal offer varying amounts? Whats paypal like?

Paypal isnt the best reliable/flexible way of transfering funds... its more of a quick/easy way to do so. If you are looking into doing checks you may want to go to google.com and do a search for "UK + Electronic check + processing + no setup" without the "" of course.

Good luck in your search. If you make any progress on this make sure you post your results here so others can use it for future reference.

I have never heard of them...Do you use them Jonathan?

They are a local Credit merchant that I personally know from a few courses at the local college a took with this guy. I am getting my merchant account setup with him for payment over the phone.

He is waiving the setup fee of $99 for me and charging me something like 2.14%. I'll drop you more details as they come Rahul.
