SSL Certs

Not yet - as most of our clients still demand Verisign or Thawte
Thought Verisign and Thwate were the same company (although one is in South Africa).
I was looking into it earlier and though instantssl.com was a good deal.

Those $49 Geotrust certs from RackShack are the business...

Reallistically, if a user has version 2 of IE, then I don't think they are going to be the sort that would buy hosting... so I'm quite happy with the browser compatibility.

Instantssl

I got a couple from them...

Does what it says on the tin.

Plus its a UK company selling them (comodo) so you can go and kick their ass

Thanks

Richard

Since Verisign has expanded its monopoly toward SSL certs by purchasing Thawte years ago, it has continued its greedy practices.

I'm using InstantSSL also, it works as advertised, you just have to make sure you install the extra bundles on the server, or else your customers get a nice warning window.

I am using a InstantSSL cert on https://www.bjcwebdesign.com.au and not had any problems.

If i had the money, i would prefer Thwate. However, they all do the same job, so it doesnt matter.

Alsong as they have had good comments about them, then they are good to me :D

How many people are using the Geotrust instant SSL certs? Do they do as they say? any problems?
Do you think its worth paying more for the trust logo?
