According to AOL, in the year 2005 ads mentioning real estate tycoon and host of famous TV program “Apprentice” Donald Trump and those hawking “Paris Patch” for body part enhancements were among the top 10 junk e-mails. Noticeably absent? Porn.

Porn is passé when it comes to spam. Sexually – suggestive mails faced a big tumble during 2004 and also slipping in popularity during 2005. The number of blocked junk e-mails, known as spam by AOL filters reached half trillion. This is slightly more than the unsolicited mails blocked in 2004, but has declined about 75 percent since 2003.

E-mails using more sophisticated tactics that try to deceive recipients by purporting to be from a friend or a legitimate agency or bear subject lines such as “Your Mortgage Application is ready”.

Spammers are employing ‘back-allay’ tactics, and they are doing it with a specialized team. They are attacking with these spam mails with disguise identity.

Are you there next target? Be careful. And do tell if you have any other information about spamming.
