The continually growing company has decided to change its name for several reasons:
1. This new name is more appropriate for their products. "Rack" suggests that they only host dedicated servers, while they have also offer many different kinds of hosting products.
2. They believe this name is easier to remember for those who didn't know their name yet.
3. Since they are currently also working on several changes in their administration, design and backend processes, they thought this would be the most appropriate moment to make this change.
"It definitely is a pain to have to change the name of a company which has used it's name for three years and has an excellent reputation", said Andre van Vliet, President of SolidRack. "However, I believe this change will pay off in the long run, and the longer we wait the harder it will become to change our name. We have tried to cause no inconvenience for customers and other visitors of our site, and I believe we can succeed by making sure everyone is well-informed of the situation."
