Here's a REALLY off the wall question. ;) Anyone know where I can get my hands on some bottles of Sokenbicha?

It's a 5-Grain Tea drink made by Coca-Cola in Japan. I have been hunting online trying to find a place that sells it in the US that woudl ship to me but I haven't found anything :(

I did find ONE place that ships in bulk orders but they need a minimum of $1000 to order the product.

If anyone comes up with search terms online, or places that I can purchase in the US, please let me know.
 
Searched for a while, but nothing yet. To clarify, are you looking for Sokenbicha ‘Gokoku,’ - ingredients five grains
(millet, rice, soy, barleycorn, sugarcane.
 
Yep, that's the one. I tried googling the Sokenbicha Gokoku and that returned maybe 7 results ;) It goes just by Sokenbicha in Japan and really took the market by storm.

Of course with all the tea drinks in Japan, they are all health orientated and this one is no different. A buddy of mine in Japan highly recommends it. Sells for about $1.70 for 2 liters in Heroshima, but I just haven't been able to find either a US distribution area (which is highly improbable) or even just a Japanese import store that carries it and would ship it.
 
Why not have your friend ship it to you? Since it is packaged by coca cola you should not have trouble getting it into the US.
 
I have a call in to a CocaCola Rep currently that is trying to find out who I need to talk to about if the product is distributed or imported into the US. It was also unknown if the product was even made in the US, but I seriously doubt it.

So I'm waiting on a call back and will follow up again later this week if I don't get a call ;)
 
I even checked ABC Stores in Hawaii, but they don't carry it either. Good luck with your Coca Cola rep.
