Skysilk seems new because they still lack a lot of features like IPV6. Notwithstanding their shortcomings, their VM's are cheap and great. They have lots of Apps to choose from. For example, they have Vesta and Lampstack if you want to host a website. Most of their apps are second-class. They do not offer cPanel or Plesk. Most of their control panels are old, unsupported and nearly useless.
On the upside, their VM's start at $2 a month for 512K and 10Gb SSD. I host one website with them but I had to manually install LAMP and what a pain! If they do not have the app you are looking for, I would pass them on by.
