Sixth Sense technology

Wow. Just watched this all the way through. Very much worth the watch. Wow...he's brilliant. This is one of the reasons I love this technology ... endless possibilities. Thanks for the link.

Very interesting indeed, seems to remind me of Bill Gates. His goal being to integrate a computer into everyone’s lives and now Microsoft have surface to achieve a similar goal, more so as said in this video to allow us to interact with the digital with the physical world...

Very interesting :D

You're welcome!

I just had to share this, I was amazed. It makes me feel like I'm inside a futuristic science fiction movie, except this is very much science fact.

It simply reminds me that absolutely NOTHING is impossible, just highly improbable. ;)

That was just crazy! Sick! Phenomenal! Amazing! This guy just reinvented our world as we know it.

One tiny little thing I didn't quite understand. Except for the camera, microphone and camera - what makes the images come alive? Is there some kind of mini projector as well? Where was the actual hardware stored at this time? His backpack? I can see it in a few years when you can pretty much use your own hardware at any place in the world (your home, office) and communicate with it wirelessly - run commands to give you information on the spot.

Yea, I believe there was a small projector on his chest. It will be open source, so I guess there's probably going to be many, many, many ways to use this.

I'm exited! :D

Definitely lots of potential in that gadget and the general ideas behind it as well. Could take a while for it to gain acceptance though.

There's also probably a difference between the presentation of it, naturally highlighting the pluses, and the real stage of development, with all the work that is still required and problems that are yet to be surmounted.

While thinking about it, I was a bit amused to think that we'll soon enough have people not only talking out loud on the streets (hands free), but also having people gesturing, scribbling away things on every reasonably flat surface available etc. A world of seemingly mad people if we were to use old standards of public behavior, ever more connected to a virtual world, ever more disconnected and even oblivious to the real one. The real world and the surrounding items seem to become a mere a tool to facilitate the uninterrupted access to the virtual one.
