Shopping?

Did anyone go out early this morning? I wanted to, but with a 16 month old, I figured it wasn't a good idea. We got out at 11 and avoided some of the crowd. Still managed to get a few good deals.

My sister did, and did she have a blast (*that* look)...

I guess there was pandemonium (sp?) in the aisles. People had their carts stacked up WELL over their heads oblivious (and indifferent) to those who may or may not be in their way...others literally fighting like vultures over the last remains of whatever crummy toy little johnny was whining about...

Got to love the blatant commercialization of the holidays! :) Maybe I'll be lucky and they just wont come next year...

You know, the funny thing is - yeah, there were a couple of really, really good deals out there. Most of the deals were average, but then there were things that weren't good at all. Like children's clothing - it was all 50%, which really wasn't that good of a bargain to me!

We were going to go out and buy a new TV and a new DVD player from a local furniture store (they were door crashers) but we decided against it after we read the features for the TV online and realised that the DVD player was the exact same one we had :p
 
Oh man, that sucks. I wanted to look at the video cameras. Some of the places, like Circuit City seemed to have some good deals, but I figure they will get better as it gets closer to Christmas. May even wait for the after Christmas sales!

Yep -boxing day is the day to get things. It's when we got this computer moniter for $80CDN and our current DVD player for $20CDN :D

Of course they both suck, but at least they work :p
