Shopper Approved? Anyone use it?

Has anybody here used Shopper Approved, and do they truly provide services that 'increase sales, traffic & reviews' as they claim?

Up until now, I've been collecting reviews and testimonials manually, and even have a section on our forums that is dedicated entirely to user-submitted reviews.

I'm mostly interested in the traffic aspect of Shoppers Approved, and was wondering how well their platform performs.

So, has anyone here used their services? Any pros or cons?

Thanks a ton.

Been using them for a few months now and highly recommend them. Very useful tools and insight through their panel as well.

I'm mostly interested in the amount of additional traffic generated by the extra search engine submissions, as to my understanding, each review is displayed in its' own separate page.

The provider that I operate is still relatively small in size, with less than 50 customers so far.
So, the extra traffic is truly an important aspect to the Shopper Approved service.

We started using them few days ago so can't say much but this is one of the best review tools out there, I've used RateLobby etc and the widgets and tools were not that good as Shopper Approved.

Be sure to let us know how it works out for you, traffic wise. :)

I'm super interested in signing up.

Well, the topic is interesting, but could you guys share some details? Amount of traffic, bounce rate or something like that?

I don't know how you're going to get a ton of traffic to your site using Shopper Approved. It will probably help your organic and PPC clickthrough rates slightly, but other than that I'm not really sure. We signed up with Shopper Approved because we were in a pinch when RatePoint closed down. It certainly has done a serviceable job for us.

Not even heard of this brand. If you really got huge traffic you should look into dedicated or cloud service.

I'm sorry to hear that. Was there anything in particular we could have done better? -- I'm not asking to try to change your mind, just honestly interested in how to improve.

Regarding Sidular's question: Of course I can't speak for Shopper Approved, but in general most of the case studies you'll find for any review service will tend to focus on the increase in conversions and click-throughs, partly because those metrics are a degree closer to equating with ROI and easier to define, but largely because that's really where you're most likely to see improvement.

The added value you can expect will be a function of what you already have. It's a great way to help accelerate growth, but if sheer traffic and exposure is what you're after, I must admit there are far more direct approaches.

Just to clarify, on the forum setup you mentioned, each topic would be considered a separate page to Google in the same way. A reviews site would be more optimized, but you're probably only looking at an incremental improvement in that regard. I don't think I'm stepping on their toes to say this because we do the same thing.
