I decided to upgrade, so I've joined the Hands-on Team in Sales & Support.

You may have seen me posting on various forums such as HostingDiscussion.com (HD Rocks!), WebMasterBB.net or WebHostingTalk.com - maybe even a few dozen more (I forget what my username used to be).

Conor and Artashes both run tight ships, so I'm thrilled to be here representing Hands-on on Hosting Discussion.
 
Awesome! Conor is an awesome guy to work for. I had a blast working for him. His group of techs are friendly and know their stuff. You'll fit right in with them.

Just out of curiosity.. Are you still the editor for WDTalk.com?
 
Nope, that's a corporate blog for another provider. I heard their old Editor wrote lots of good stuff there. :)

Congratulations on the move! You have an outstanding experience in the field, Steve, Hostirian being a very well run organization as well. HandsOnWebHosting, through my direct experience, is an excellent company that is a dream to be a part of.

There are few companies out there that truly inspire: Dell, Amazon, Google are the success stories that personally impacted me, as well as millions of other people. Without reservation, HandsOn to me is what Amazon is to the world of online shopping. It is an industry standard for how a web hosting company should be run. No maybes. It just is that good.

I think you and HandsOn is a perfect marriage. HandsOn takes care of its people very well and they will definitely benefit in exchange from your active social presence on the forums.

Thanks Artashes. When WHT crashed in March of 2009, it forced me to look to other forums, which is when I found HD and Hands-on. From the beginning, I read every thread and reply that Conor and you wrote - I was impressed. Well, it's 2012 and I'm still impressed. And I concur with Romes and you that the staff at Hands-on is top rate - they definitely know their stuff. :)
 
Wow - what a review Artashes (ans Steve)... There's a Testimonials section on our website now (in the footer under Company). I'm going to have to have Artashes copy some of his post to that ;)

We're very happy to have Steve on board with us at Hands-on. It's been something we've looked at for a while, and the timing was just right here the other week.

Romes was great to work with at Hands-on too - excellent employee! And Artashes - well, really, what can I say there ;)

Wow, did this turn into a "stroke" thread or what ;) Anyway - we're very happy to have the team we do, and Steve is a welcomed addition to our family.
 
Sorry to bump an old thread, but I just now came across some of Steve's recent threads and saw Handsonhosting in his signature rather than Hostirian and went :uhh:

I had no idea he joined Conor's team! Congrats on the move! :thumbup:
