Safari is nice!

After reading an article in eWeek on Safari browser efficiency and how version 3.1 (for Windows) of this browser was improved, I decided to give it a try, and boy am I hooked!

Usually I am not a fan of anything Apple, just because they tell me to be, but this browser has really impressed me. They certainly don't lie when they say it is light and fast - it proved to be very fast in comparison to my IE. However, I don't use it during my daily routines, rather use it for reading/viewing sites that are not complex. For an avid web surfer - I do recommend to at least give it a test-drive - you might be surprised!

Btw, one of this browsers unique features is the ability to change the size of a text-box field right on the page. Great for bloggers/community participants.

I like Safari, but I much prefer the FireFox 3 Beta.

I tried to use it myself and I have made a conclusion that Firefox is much better

I downloaded Safari but when I have problems getting it to open when I try to use it. It will eventually open, but not until after I have given up and gone back to Explorer or Firefox. I will have to try the "changing a text box" feature, though. That would come in handy!

Just thought that since I opened my mounth in the first place recommending Safari, it is only fair that I also report that Microsoft has just announced that Safari is vulnerable to attacks. Here is an article I stumbled on today that describes the potential danger of using the software:

Safari seems pretty sold indeed - I downloaded it to run a test on some client issues. I admittedly haven't had a whole lot of interaction with it past that. Firefox has been my browser of choice for a while now.
