reller plans

Well, I'm thinking about becoming a reseller, but I don't want to offer support.

Unnoficially, I host many of my clients through Go Daddy- and I don't make a cent off it.

So I want to become a reseller, but I want someone else to do the support.

What are my options?

You need to start with a reseller plan first and develop a reasonable client base- thereafter you should look for support. If you have clients in advance and need support from very beginning you can PM me I hope I would be able to help you.

Hi,
Support is one of the key parts involved in offering hosting. If you don't want to run the servers yourself or provide support, then maybe an affiliate program might suite your needs better.

What you really need is a reseller hosting company that provides end-user support. In these cases, they would install a helpdesk on your website that your customers would submit tickets through. They would then answer tickets transparently.

Cheers,
Roj

resellerzoom gives free end user support on their more expensive plans. Or you could hire an outsourced support company, but that may be costly.

Agreed, if you don't want to offer support, then your users wont want to pay for a service that if goes wrong, they dont have anyone to contact.

If you do not want to offer support - The hosting industry is NOT for you.

Basically bro, I believe this is what makes your company different from any other...The only reason I ever thought about being into hosting was because of my ability and willingness to help others on a personal level...

There are several companies out there to do out sourcing. Or there are some hosts that will provide support for your customer. They cost alittle bit extra but make it alot easier for you in the end.

No worries. Outsourcing is an option for you. Search for a good one. These days there are many hosts that provide support to their resellers.

Good Luck!
Lea.
