Questions about cPanel's Enkompass CP

Hallo all!

I've got a question for you. Has anyone yet tried to install Enkompass on a windows 2008 Server RC 2? Any success? How does it work and is it very buggy? A customer of ours wants it setup on his server and since we've never tried it before want to get some feedback from you. Do you recommend any other CP for Windows except Plesk?
 
It looks like cPanel just has a test license available of Enkompass at the moment, but, unfortunately, I haven't tried it out.

You can also check out Parallels Small Business Panel made by the same people who make Plesk, but for a different purpose depending on client needs.

Honestly, I don't like Plesk and their products at all, and I was hoping to get some feedback of others who might used it already.

Enkompass RC 0 is not compatible with Microsoft Windows Server 2008 R2. If you want to use Enkompass RC0, it is recommended you use Microsoft Windows Server 2008.

RC1 of Enkompass will support Microsoft Windows Server 2008 R2

Is this up and running yet? Our account rep led me to believe it was still in beta and production was still on the horizon. I wore my Enkompass shirt yesterday!

Enkompass doesn't yet meet our high quality standards, hence it's still not yet at a 1.0. However, this is a release candidate and companies are welcome to deploy it into production environments.
 
We have setup Encompass on our windows server and when I first used it was amazed that it works! Infact it is better than Plesk, but not being a big Plsk fan, everything must be better than that. We are using it in a full production enviroment and have not had any negative customer feedback yet. However it is tricky to install and the installer does not install or disable the Windows parts that are needed.
