plesk, ensim or cpanel?

Which control panel do you think is best for the end users?

I have most experience with cpanel so I could provide best support for that but I also have good experience with ensim and some experience with plesk, but not enough right now to provide support I think.

I want something which has the features resellers would need most and that is very stable.

Thanks

cPanel has more options and is easier to operate for both the end user and the admin.

Ensim is ok but does not have as many options and when new accounts are created everybody's site stops working when it restarts apache.

Plesk is ok but it has been a long time sience I used it.

cPanel / WHM is the way for me, I've used Ensim, really don't like it, matter of preference for the most part I would say though..

Ensim is ok but does not have as many options and when new accounts are created everybody's site stops working when it restarts apache.

Is that still the same with Ensim Pro?
I thought they would have fixed that by now.
Its still only down for a few seconds to restart apache isnt it?

I've used Ensim, really don't like it

What was it you didnt like about Ensim?

Which would be the most stable out of the three? For both security and stability of it running on the server

Ensim Pro is by far the most superior control panel.

Sure, the kids love Cpanel because it looks like playskool, but if you plan to offer solid, secure, stable hosting then Ensim Pro is the only option.

It offers a proper chroot aswell as individual installs of php on a per site basis - stops customer data theft among shared accounts.

The features on Pro have come a long way and now match those of Cpanel and other leading panels. Its also the first panel to offer a proper user-by-user install of MailScanner and Spam assassin (see: http://matt.unitedhosting.co.uk/spam_config.jpg).

I cant say enough good things about this software. Dont be just another sheep in the flock and use Cpanel, stand out and offer superior solutions to clients who will appreciate it.

Did that sound like an advert or what? :)

Matt,
I am impressed with that, how did you get that green? Where can I get a cool looking face like that? Where did you find that spam control thing, I can launch my SpamZAPPER service :)

I have pro, i love pro. I will never use anything else. I suggest pro to anyone, I love it, and I will never change :)

Oh yeah, and they made it very easy to implement good looking skins.

How long did that skin take you to design Matt?

Anyone know if Ensim Pro restarts apache when a new site is created?

I have pro, i love pro.

What is it you love about Ensim Pro?
From what Matt's ad says it sounds like a good control panel ;)
Why do you not like cPanel though Matt?

Sure, it has a very user friendly interface but its still stable enough and it does everything needed.
Does Ensim do anything cPanel doesnt?

I might Add:

Cpanel => Users Preffered, the Leader in the Market, High-License Price.

Ensim => Security Leader, not 100% Good Looking but it's Good for Admins that wants not to be Hacked

Plesk => Second Leader, I have not Experienced with them Before and I can't say enough About them :(

I use cpanel and I think its great.
I havent had one security problem with it and very very few problems with the running of the actual script, anything I did have a problem with was very easily fixed but I know ensim also has the same problems as I had.

Last time I used Plesk it was VERY simple but it has changed a lot since then so I dont have any idea about it.

Ensim isnt too bad but I have only used a demo of the pro version, although I used ensim on a server before, that was before pro was out, and it wasnt the best, cpanel performed a lot better

I use cPanel because its easy for end users, I have tried all 3 control panels mentioned and cPanel worked out the best, least problems for me, ensim had numerous problems and I used that for a few months, the services kept going down on plesk and I really didnt like the control panel, only stayed with that for about a month.

Do have to add that I used ensim before pro was available and pro does look and sound a lot more stable (Even thinking of getting a server with ensim to try it for myself)

I dont think I would go back to plesk, I saw the latest version and it does look improved, but still not enough for end users I dont think.

I dont have any problems with cPanel being unstable on servers and havent had any security problems with it myself either

RobAPI,

Because Ensim uses A virtual private file system that lock down shared server security and prevent customer data theft.

And the Spam Filter is Great :)

Im interested in hearing Matt's comments on this.
He seems to know a good bit about Ensim, and from what I have read from his posts, seems he likes to advertise it :D

How much are they paying you Matt ;)
