Hi everyone. I would just like to ask you all to read my article on IAL neutrality at ArtLangs .

The site will be using the domain name artlangs.com but it is still in the proces of nameserver change.

I don't actually run the site I just host it on my account.

I'm going to copy this and save it offline so I can read it later, got a lot going on at the minute and I know I will be reading then get distracted and will end up either forgetting some or missing out on something.

Skimmed over it and the article seems very interesting.
Are you part-owner of that site now also?

I am a part owner of the site now. Although there seems to be a small problem with the domain. The safest thing to do for the moment is to see the web page via artlangs.vision-park.net instead until we sort it out. The domain artlangs.com seems to be pointing to the old host.

You know where you can ask about problems with your domain, don't you ;)

If you stil have the problem later you should start a thread and ask for some help, just tell us what your problem is and I'm sure someone can help you out

I tried artlangs.com this morning and was able to see the site. Or were those the old site files? (Something running on phpNuke, dijon-mustard-tan-yellow background?)

They look the same. This is what my host told me about my problem.

Hi
There is no problem. with and without www. both work correctly and point to the same site, give it some time for you isp to update all their dns records.

Ask someone else on a different isp to check for you, the domain is working as it should, it takes time for the dns changes on a domain to filter through every network around the world, you need to allow it some more time, also clear your browsers cache.

Ah - yes, the ISP fun.

Is it possible to tell, by looking at the last date that something is posted, if my ISP has updated their information yet? (They're fairly good about doing so.)

When was the last dated post you made on the old site, and what is the first dated post you made at the new location?

It's easy to tell the difference. The old site first takes you to a php page where you had to press a link to go to the site and it had a google ad advert at the bottom. The new one goes directly to the new page witout adverts.

The new site is showing for me then :)
Very long article, you might want to break it up a little more so it would be easier to read.
Right now it seems like very large blocks of text which can put a lot of people off reading it

No google adverts, so this must be the actual site. First post visible starts out, "We have now switched hosting over to..." so my ISP is apparently OTB (on the ball).

You've still got some of the links hardcoded to go to the artlangs.vision-park.com domain, though (the ones for each individual contributors' editorials).
