Hey,
Can people check the site www.rnhost.com and tell me if the images are showing up?
I have had two people say all images arent showing up on the site.
One from Ireland, the other from England.
So Im wondering if its something to do with the ISP

I dont see any problems on the site and the links to all images look correct to me.
Lots of people have seen the site and none have reported problems so I really cant work this out.

Please let me know if you can see the images on the site and what country you are in.

Thanks a lot
John

Thanks a lot :)
I dont know why it wont work for some people because everything looks ok.
One has reformatted since it wasnt working and they still cant see the images on the site.
None of the images show up and other sites on the same server are working ok

I dont know if they are both using the same ISP, I just know one is in Ireland and the other, England.
It wouldnt be the DNS though as they are too far apart for that

Might be DNS from the old server. They might be bringing up your site from the old server... Something to think about and I have seen this happen even that DNS updated but some ISP's don't udate as fast as others.

I dont think I had that domain on another server.
I think the first time it was used was on the current server so the DNS shouldnt be a problem there

Not all showing up for me I get the header but not the side menu images or anything else. I am using my dreaded 83. IP I will log out and log into 195. IP and see if they show up

Grrr ok so it couldnt be ISP...
Its not to do with if people visited the site before either, the person from England did, the one from Ireland didnt, but same problem.

This isnt good...Im sure this would put customers off and I cant work out the problem here...I thought it was just the one person that had a local problem for over a month until today when someone else said they had the same problem

John,

Try to search if your IP is being blocked. Maybe the last owner of your IP block pissed off some people. If so, I would request new IP's and change the nameservers.

Thanks everyone.
Maybe the IP is being blocked, ok its not.
Just as I typed that I remembered, I asked them to view other sites on the same main IP and there were no problems.
So its only the domain, not a server or IP issue.
DNS is the only thing I can think of but it hasnt been changed from anything else so not sure how it oculd be that..It was set a few months ago so it couldnt be resolving..

John,

Check your DNS for the domain on the server. Maybe your server DNS for that domain is not set correctly.

That's about all I can think of. The domain works fine for me.

Also, for those who do not work ask for there IP and do a traceroute.

Also, try placing that domain on it's own IP. Doing that will cause DNS propegation to start on that domain again.

Hope this helps, this was the last thing I could think of so nothing else can be pulled out of my you know what :)

If all else fails, setup 2 nameservers only for that domain.

Remember when I first started thesourcematrix.com and you and a few could not view it. Same issue, I just created it's own DNS and that fixed it.
