For all of you football fans out there. I wanted to give you the news that former Pittsburgh Steeler (1978-1985 when they were great), #77 Steve Courson (Defensive Lineman) died a few hours ago.
He was cutting down a tree in his yard (a few mins from my home), when the tree had fallen. He was apparently trying to save his dogs from getting hit with the tree, when the tree had fallen on him.
You could always see Mr. Courson doing a daily exercise walk through the mall here, simply trying to stay in shape due to his heart condition. He had also volunteered his time to local senior citizens, to help keep them in shape and more active.
