I've got a small issue and am looking for advice. Seems like someone posted my information after a transactions, my address and name etc.. Luckly one of the members reported it to the mods and they took down the address, however they left my full name up. Is there anyway to get the forum admins to take my full name off? I never gave them ANY permission to post my information at all.

Has anyone else ever had their information posted before anywhere?

This is a conundrum about public forums. You do have some right but have you contacted the administrators personally?

It depends upon the situation. But, usually, if someone has had information that they do not want to reveal posted on a public forum, I believe the moderators should remove it from public eyes.

Well the there was a issue with a transaction I had with someone on Paypal, a few years ago. Basically the user posted everything from Paypal, my address and name on a public forum. After the issue was resolved, the user still didn't edit their post. At the same time, members of that forum thought it was rude to post my personal information, so I believe one of the mods edited my address, but not my name.

I have sent a PM to the admins and mods, so hopefully it will get resolved. Is there any Paypal agreement that the user violated, by posting my name/address through paypal?
