Which bits of cpanel exactly require that spec ?
Cel 2.4, 256mb ram, fedora2, cpanel/whm (10.x), 200 accounts - load average 0.17

Yes it is a bargain, and yes, also a typo . I was too excited to pass out the news, it's 3000GB.

I never said cPanel requires it or not. Just a simple fact that I like to serve my clients on. You will never find any of my system lower than a Pentium 2.8 Mhz wit 512 Ram.
