Does anyone have any experience working with PDF documents? I am looking for a software that can unlock secure documents and merge multiple PDF documents into one.

I am going to search around regardless, but you never know, someone here might have gone through this before already so that they can suggest something.

I don't know about unlocking, but I use pdfsam.org for merging PDFs. It's free, open source, and super simple. Very basic looking but works flawlessly.

I am quite happy with PDFprime software because it does both functions well.

Online services I try to stay away from since I am working with sensitive documents and I don't want to upload those files to some server I have no control over.
