I've recently been being packeted repeatidly, was wondering, what can I do to stop it or help avoid it, anything.. what can be done about it?

I've been without internet for the last bit of hours, probably close to 10 or so.. I was in bed anyway most of the time..

Let me know if anything can be done about this.. thanks!
 
Well you can try to force your router to renew the IP you are on and move out the way, or contact your ISP

Yeah just contact your ISP and they will be able to stop it.
Normally if you unplug your connection for a few minutes it will change your IP, mine is dynamic and I can still change it.
You can even get a program to change your IP but I have no idea what they are called, just try doing a search on google
 
I wish mine changed.. it doesn't it is not static, but sure acts like one, it gets changed like once every few months.. only way to get it changed is to call up my ISP.. they kept punting us off last night, and one of them was VERY rude...
 
Sorry I meant mine is static, not dynamic.
They arent meant to change at all but mine acts like its dynamic in some ways and static in others, a bit weird to be honest because its meant to be totally static but being the way it is does help in a lot of cases :)

Hope you get it sorted out, using a program like I said and asking your ISP to do it for you is the only ways I can think of really
