Oldest email in your inbox

What is the oldest email you have in your inbox?
I cleared most of my inboxes out a few months ago but at the minute, my oldest is from 21st May 2002 which is on a hotmail account.
Its from a host about a hosting plan I had for a forum only site
 
Er, in my archive folder about 1996, some are kept for legal reasons though which do have an archival timespan which has to be kept to by law so they don't count - but back to about 2000.

Never bin anything for anything active.
 
Oct 1, 2003. Think that is when I switched from Windows to Linux. Before that probally 1998 or so. I had a big 15 GB email file.
 
Hehe what was the 15gb file Robert?Was that your server backup ;)

I would have had older emails but I had to reformat a few times so I lost the emails that were stored on my computer.
Just have that one because it was on hotmail and I havent deleted it, even though I dont need it anymore :rolleyes:
 
My oldest file in Outlook right now is From March 2nd 2003.... not too old.

But I have my PST files backed up that are about 2-3 years old now. And for everyone that has said they keep emails daiting back to 1996... you must have some serious email fettish. If its important, print it and file it. Much more reliable than leaving it in your inbox.
