It usually takes a lot for me to buy a gadgets just for sake of entertainment (I am always looking for some practical usage out of it), but the following item is currently being placed at the top of my list:

Kind of resembles the Microsoft Courier that never went into production, except that NoteSlate is a lot more simple, which is probably the reason why it has a better shot at making it. Love the simple concept, love the functionality and features, as well as paper extensions. It might be too simple, but functionally, it has tremendous potential for any kind of professional, artist, developer, designer, writer, etc.
