Not for Mac Lovers!

I've used a Mac for 5 years (using one now) and I've never had one of the problems he mentioned. When was this made? Before 2000? That might have explained some of those things, but not nearly most of them. Also research shows that a Mac usually goes about 3 - 4 months before crashing and then 90% of the time you can just use something called force quit to unfrees it.

What a bunch of crap this video is.

I'm not saying the Mac is perfect (Where the heck is the right mouse button argh). I was also a bit surprised when I found out it had no floppy drive. But I just use a USB key now. That's much better.

What do you mean compared to a Mac. I've had my Mac for more than a year, use it more than an hour a day browsing the internet and using photoshop.

Virus infections = 0
Crash = 0
Drivers I've needed to install for new hardware and USB/Firewire devices = 0
Technical problems = 0

I have a feeling this is going to turn into a nasty argument. Can't people just accept that some people prefer Mac and others windows or some other operating system like Linux, BSD etc.

Also the amount of software for a mac is no longer a problem. Because Mac OS X is based on Unix it's also a form of Linux meaning all Linux software (that I have heard of) can easily be ported to Mac OS X.

Can't computer users just live in peace and harmony :) ??? :)

Also the computer voted worlds fastest computer is a Mac G5 :D

Also I'm not saying I'm against windows. Heck. I use it all the time on my laptop. I just prefer Mac that's all.

Must look out the clip of Bill Gates and his techie demonstrating Windows 98 - yep CTRL-ALT-DEL required (televised) - it's still funny from any side as we've probably all had screaming fits at OS's :D

Computers can live in peace, I accept some people prefer macs, some PCs, some other things. But as long as emulators are availalble, and PCs can run mac software, macs can run PC software, does it make any difference anyway?

Absolutely not - it used to be the application argument - then the combined speed/performance one well if you can do what you need who cares :D

Exactly. If the computer works the way you want it to, all the better :)

Unlike the video: If you can get the mac what you want to do while it is willing, all the better

I also like the tons of free software that apple gives to their users.

iCal
iDVD
iPhoto
iTunes (now also windows)
Mail
iMovie
Safari
DVD Player
iMovie
Chess
iChat
iSync
Sherlock
Stickies
Inbuilt PDF creator that works with ALL programs written for OS X.

But I guess that you could find those kind of programs for windows as well. But the great thing is that because they were all created by apple they work together. Making a slide show? Use an iTunes song from you're library. Want to create a slide show for DVD? Export from iPhoto to iDVD. Want to listen to various internet radio channels? Several hundred are built into iTunes. Want to buy music for $0.99 per song? Fire up iTunes. Want to import pictures from you're new camera? Just plug it inn and iPhoto does the rest. No drivers needed.

Anyway as I said. I'm not anti-windows. Just anti-Bill really.

Well they have to really the amount of free apps for the pc/win platform is nearing silly, had to keep that link away from Kyle though he's mac through and through (probably explains why he's so damn good at PS)

Yeah a lot of graphics designers use a Mac. Guess it's because of Apples good reputation for stability in their new operating system Mac OS X. Also the Mac OS X interface is way cool.
