newbie question please help!

Hi,

I've registered a domain from a registrar. After sometime i purchased some web space from a different web hosting firm (that uses a cpanel).

Now i want to map that domain to the contents/directory of the server where i have purchased web space.

How can i do that? how i have to point name servers to second hosting company's particular directory?

To point your domains nameservers to your hosting provider you need to do the following:

1. Log into your domain control panel
2. Locate the section where you are able to change / update your name servers
3. Enter the nameservers of your hosting company (this can usually be found in your welcome email)
4. Click update and wait until your web space appears.

When you change your name servers for your domain it can take up to 24 hours to resolve (its usually done in the first few hours or even minutes!)
